am südlichen Ende des Naturparks "Parcul Natural Apuseni", in dem Urlaubsgebiet "Quellen des Arieș- Flusses" gelegen, am Rande des Höhenluftkurortes Arieșeni (830 m), in der entschleunigten Zone eines Feriendorfes, nahe dem höchsten Gipfel (Cucurbăta Mare, 1849 m), direkt am Aries-Fluß, der sich weiter in seinem schönen Tal hinab in Richtung Osten windet, wo er z.B. auch wunderschöne Klammen geschaffen hat
